01 — Overview
What this site is
christopherlpenn.com is a founder-led marketing and content site for Christopher L. Penn and the ecosystem of companies he is building. It publishes articles, book information, podcast and speaking details, and provides a contact form for partnerships, press, investment, and general inquiries.
The site does not sell products, host user accounts for the general public, or process payments. Visitors can browse content without signing in.
02 — Data we collect
What information is collected
Contact form submissions. When you choose an inquiry type and email us, your email client sends the message you compose directly to . We receive only what you choose to send.
Server and hosting logs. Our hosting provider may record standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested URL) for security, abuse prevention, and reliability monitoring.
No advertising trackers. The site does not run third-party advertising pixels and does not sell visitor data.
03 — How we use it
Use, retention, and sharing
Inquiry emails are used solely to respond to your request and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not share inquiry contents with third parties except where required by law.
Operational logs are retained by the hosting provider on their standard schedule and are accessed only for diagnostics, security, or legal compliance.
04 — Security controls
Application and platform safeguards
The site is delivered over HTTPS. The administrative area is gated behind authentication and is excluded from search engine indexing. Backend services use row-level security policies so that data is only accessible to authorized roles.
Secrets and credentials are stored server-side and are never embedded in client code. The site is hosted on managed cloud infrastructure that handles patching, network isolation, and backups.
05 — Your choices
