How It Works
- Photograph the item. A cleaner, a mattress, a candle, a piece of flooring, a plastic container.
- The tool identifies it. It recognizes the product or the product type from the image.
- It describes what is commonly inside. The ingredients, materials or off-gassing sources typically associated with that kind of product, in plain language rather than chemical shorthand.
- It suggests alternatives. Comparable products that avoid the concerning ingredients, so the answer is not simply "stop using this."
That last step matters most. Awareness without an alternative just produces anxiety.

It cannot see inside a sealed formulation, it does not perform chemical analysis, and it does not diagnose or predict health outcomes. Treat it as a well-informed starting point for a decision — not a laboratory result.
